This is where the IED come and find Senay to take her away and its where I tell you about it.

Borders are presented in the start of this sequence as more symbolic (0:30-0:40) as after Ivan goes to with Juliet to use her 'services' he asks Okwe to watch the door and take £5 for compensation, however Okwe refuses his money this therefore suggests that Okwe is trying to keep his morals and ideals from the corruptions (Ivan and his money) which are pushing to try to get him to get them to break. Also this is coupled by his physical border of the front reception desk between him and Juliet/Ivan which could connote his moral superioty over the other two by blocking himself off from them.

(2:09) Mise en Scene: The use of red to shroud Okwe from the IED officers when he rings Ivan for help suggests how he is desperately trying to flee the danger that they evoking not only for himself as an illegal immigrant bu also for Senay who is breaking her contract to being in the country, this could also highlight his compassionate feelings towards Senay through the colour red in the scene. This is juxtaposed by the next shots of Ivan and Juliet who have no passion and love between the two of them, the colour blue which suggests more calm feelings towards one another.
